Nasim works with the Gender Secretariat at the IFC—a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. In this role, she leads IFC's work on women's employment and WINvest, a partnership initiative with the private sector aimed at promoting employment opportunities for women while improving business performance.

Nasim previously worked with several non-governmental organizations including the Education for Employment Foundation, where she supported the delivery of tailored job training programs for unemployed youth in the Middle East.

She holds a Masters in International Development from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, San Diego.
