Natasha Puri

Entrepreneur. Innovator. Global Health Advocate.

Natasha Puri is Studio Y Fellow at MaRS Discovery District, the largest urban innovation hub in the world. Puri has been an active youth advocate in promoting patient/physician human rights, health policies combatting structural violence, and public health prevention efforts. Through her work with the United Nations Youth Assembly, Physicians for Human Rights, United Way, and extensive clinical experience in Canada and the United States, Puri has understood the importance of patient-centered care and social determinants of health. Her past research focuses on adolescent fertility among oncology patients as well as the distribution of heart failure and MI among veterans. Puri received a Bachelor's of Science from New York University, where she studied Global Public Health, Social Entrepreneurship, and Pre-Medical Sciences. Moreover, she has received a Master's Certificate in Healthcare Leadership at Cornell University.
