Field Organizer, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia
Nia Bentall is a 2014 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in American Government. While at U.Va, she was the Sexual Assault Leadership Council Co-Chair, Education Chair of One Less and the lead planner for Take Back the Night. She worked for grassroots organizing groups, electoral campaigns and conducted research for the U.Va Department of Politics, Gender and Diversity Climate Committee.
After graduating, she moved to Richmond and works for the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance and is the Health Center Advocacy Organizer at the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood. In her spare time, she is a youth delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women, and is a member of U.Va Alumni and Allies for Survivors.
