Nina Burleigh

Investigative journalist and author

Nina Burleigh is an award-winning investigative journalist and author of five books, including the New York Times bestseller, The Fatal Gift of Beauty, on the trials of Amanda Knox. Her recent work on a wide array of topics can be found in Rolling Stone, the New York Times, WSJ Magazine and Time.com. She covered the White House and Congress for Time, was a staff writer at People, and writes The Bombshell column at the New York Observer. She has appeared on Good Morning America, Nightline, The Today Show, 48 Hours, MSNBC, CNN and, on NPR and numerous radio programs. Born and educated in the Midwest, based in New York, she has traveled extensively in the Middle East and lived in Italy and France.
She is a an adjunct professor at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and has lectured around the United States, in Italy, and in Mexico.
