Nathan King

I am Associate Professor of Philosophy at Whitworth University. I received my Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. I specialize in the theory of knowledge. My recent scholarly work is about such topics as intellectual virtue, civil discourse, and the epistemology of disagreement. Lately I've been thinking a lot about the role of intellectual virtues (e.g., curiosity, humility, fair-mindedness, and intellectual perseverance) in education and everyday life.
