Pamela T. Luster, Ed.D.

As president of one of the fastest growing community colleges in the country (and the fastest growing in California), Dr. Pamela Luster juggles how to inspire students and meet faculty needs in the face of crunching budget realities. “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Despite these challenges, Mesa is fulfilling its promise to students to succeed at a premier higher education institution” she says of her job at San Diego Mesa College. Luster became the college’s sixth president in 2011.
