Pat Pedraja

Patrick Pedraja is a unique 14 year old whose slogan is “You are never too young to change the world!” Patrick began his quest to help others after he was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 10. He learned about the critical shortage of donors on the National Marrow Donor Registry and created a charity called Driving for Donors, a national marrow donor drive which adds marrow donors to the registry and educates people about the need for donors. Patrick has won numerous awards for his work including CNN Heroes, Build A Bear Huggable Heroes and the Do Something Award. Patrick is continuing his efforts to make a difference by creating The Planet Us to inspire young people to take action to help change the world.
