Tanzanian serial and social entrepreneur, environmental activist and philanthropist
Patrick E. Ngowi is a young Tanzanian serial and social entrepreneur, environmental activist and philanthropist who started his first business at the age of 15. He is the founder of the Helvetic Group of Companies, the fastest growing network of renewable energy concerns operating in East Africa.
In 2012, Patrick founded The Light for Life Foundation, a non-profit social enterprise that provides free solar energy kits to women in rural parts of Tanzania. He is very passionate about the growth and development of East Africa and focuses most of his energy on commercial and philanthropic initiatives across the region.
