George Peknik is a retired international educator and instructional designer. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with his wife of 48 years, Sabina. They have one son, Christopher, who also lives in Albuquerque with his wife Lisa and their sons Attacus and Felix. His interests include nature, liberal politics, writing, hiking, and social wellness. He was born in Chicago, lived and taught in the Middle East for 16 years, and moved to New Mexico in 2009 from Boulder, Colorado.
