Penelope Leach

Penelope is a research psychologist specialising in child development and parenting. Best known as the author of the classic "Your Baby and Child", which became the basis for a CableAce award winning Lifetime Cable network TV series ("Your Baby and Child with Penelope Leach")she is a passionate advocate for children as is shown in her most recent book "When Parents Part: How Mothers and Fathers can Help Their Children Deal With Separation and Divorce"
Penelope is a Visiting Professor of Education at Winchester University and a Senior Research Fellow at the Tavistock Clinic and at the Centre for the Study of Children, Families and Social Issues at Birkbeck, University of London. She is a member of the Professional Advisory Council of the American Institute for Child, Adolescent and Family Studies.
Widowed after 45 years, Penelope is mother of two and grandmother of six.
