Pamela Ryckman

Pamela Ryckman is an author, journalist, screenwriter, and business executive with a focus on women in the workforce. She is the author of STILETTO NETWORK: Inside the Women's Power Circles That Are Changing the Face of Business and has written for The New York Times, Financial Times, Washington Post, Fortune.com/CNNMoney, and The New York Observer, among other publications. Ryckman and STILETTO NETWORK have been featured widely in the press. She has appeared on The TODAY Show, Rock Center with Brian Williams, Good Day New York, Bloomberg TV, and MSNBC (where she is a contributor), and in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, New York Post, U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Inc., Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, and More. Ryckman consults on women in business to global corporations and is a sought-after speaker who regularly addresses corporate and women’s groups, as well as academic institutions and philanthropies. Ryckman is also a partner of Lucky VIII, an independent film, television, and theatre production company working with top-tier talent both domestically and internationally. Among projects in development are Stiletto Network, a television series on which Ryckman is an Executive Producer. With veteran Tony Award-winning producer Bob Cole, Ryckman is also raising a theatre, film, and television development fund. Before becoming a writer, Ryckman performed internal strategy work for Merrill Lynch's Global Markets and Investment Banking Group, and for Goldman Sachs & Co.'s Equities Financial and Strategic Management group. She began her career at Mitchell Madison Group, a management consulting firm. Ryckman is also on the board of Page 73 Productions, which develops and produces new work by early-career playwrights. From 2003 to 2009, Ryckman was on the board of The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, which won a 2010 Tony Award for Excellence in the Theatre. She is also a managing board member of Harlan Media, a full-service media agency and HUBZone business based in Newark, NJ. Pamela Ryckman earned her A.B. in Comparative Literature from Princeton University and her M.A. in Journalism from New York University. She is fluent in French and proficient in Italian. She lives with her family in Manhattan.
