Rachel McKibbens is a poet, activist and mother of five. She is the author of two acclaimed volumes of poetry, Pink Elephant, (2009) and Into the Dark & Emptying Field, (2013) a finalist for the Paterson Poetry Prize. McKibbens tours the country with her poetry and writing workshops as an advocate for mental health awareness, gender-equality and survivors of violence and domestic abuse.
