Cairo native

I was born in Cairo Egypt and grew up in downtown Cairo near Tahrir square. I moved to the US when I was 12. I have gone back and forth all my life and went to work at the National Council for Human Rights in Cairo after I finished my B.A. in Legal Studies. The, I went to Turin, Italy to get my M.A. in International Development. I moved to New York two years ago for an internship with Human Rights Watch. I have been working as an Arabic interpreter and also with a development NGO, a program for middle east entrepreneurship.
