Ranjit Dighe is Professor of Economics at the State University of New York at Oswego, where he teaches about American economic history, money and banking, and financial crises. His research has covered such topics as wages and banks in the Great Depression, the Wizard of Oz as a political and monetary allegory, and business support for Prohibition and its repeal. By “Blogging Through the Wreckage," he hopes to get a grip on the recent economic and financial crisis.
