CEO of VOIQ & YCombinator Fellow, Top 20 Latino Tech Leaders in the US

Ricardo is the founder & CEO of VOIQ - an on-demand call app, disrupting the call center space. This YCombinator-backed company allows businesses to qualify thousands of sales calls in minutes at half the cost of call centers by leveraging thousands of professional VOIQ on-demand call agents who work from the VOIQ app on their smartphone. VOIQ is the API of sales qualification calls online and will soon become the largest workforce of call agents worldwide.

Ricardo is a 2015 YCombinator fellow and was recently recognized as a 2015 Silicon Valley Top Diverse Tech 40 Under 40. He also founded the group of the Top 20 Latino Tech Leaders in the US. Ricardo is a member of the Board of Advisors to the World Policy Institute. He holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Politics from the same institution.

Prior to VOIQ, Ricardo served as an Associate to the NYC Mayor’s Office developing the 2015 technology blueprint for New York City. He also led the technology efforts for the mayoral campaign of mayor Angel Taveras; the first Latino mayor of the City of Providence, RI..

in 2012, Ricardo was selected as one of the top 25 young bright Latino leaders in NYC by Latino Leaders magazine. He is the president of the Scarsdale Alumni Association and was recently a guest at the White House reception for Latino leaders and a member of the delegation of the Department of State & the Aspen Institute set to meet & explore the investment and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Latin America.
