Richard Marsh, Ph.D.

Richard Marsh has spent much of his his working life working with faith-based and civil society groups and organisations. He spent 9 years on the personal staff of the Archbishop of Canterbury as his Secretary for International and Ecumenical Affairs developing special expertise and interest in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was one of the founders of the World Faiths Development Dialogue working to bring faith-communities into dialogue with the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. He is a regular visitor to Ethiopia.

In 2006 he became the director of the ImpACT Coalition and subsequently Intelligent Giving where he pursued his interest in the transparency and accountability of the charitable sector. He is the author of a number of books and articles and a regular commentator on the role of the charitable sector. His is currently the CEO of the Institute for Food Brain and Behaviour.
