Richard Reiss studied political science and philosophy in the Directed
Studies program at Yale, then graduated with a degree in architecture. After college he entered the film business as a cameraman, and later began a career as a director of TV commercials while continuing to study public communications. He's co-founder of two educational non profits: Artist As Citizen and the new City Atlas, which is a collaboration with the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities.
