Senior Policy Advisor, Global Witness
Robert B. Lawrence joined Global Witness, a non-governmental organization dedicated to ending the links between natural resources, conflict, and corruption as Senior Policy Advisor in May 2010. Previously, he served as Director of Policy and Government Relations at the Save Darfur Coalition and as Deputy Director, Africa for the International Republican Institute.
He has also served as a Professional Staff Member for the House International Relations Committee, the House Rules Committee, and the House Democracy Assistance Commission, and as a foreign policy advisor to U.S. Representative David Dreier.
Lawrence holds a graduate degree in International Security from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and an undergraduate degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
