Rollie Heath

State Sen. Rollie Heath, D-Boulder, earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin. He served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and enjoyed a lengthy and successful business career after graduation. He held several private sector executive positions, started several of his own businesses, and founded the Denver World Trade Center. He ran as the Democratic Party's nominee for Governor of Colorado in 2002, became a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2004 and earned the Legislator of the Year award from the Economic Development Council of Colorado in 2009.
