Ron Spangler

Dr. Spangler is currently a private investor. Dr. Spangler received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Molecular Biology and his Ph.D. in Physiology. He continued his education as a NIH postdoctoral scholar in the department of internal medicine at the University of Michigan. Following his postdoctoral training, Dr. Spangler joined the Procter and Gamble Company where he was responsible for their clinical research and development programs. After his tenure at Procter and Gamble, Dr. Spangler joined SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals as Director of Worldwide Strategic Product Development. Dr. Spangler went on to manage a biotechnology hedge fund, found two investment banks and serve as Chief Scientific Officer for Synova Healthcare, Inc. Dr. Spangler has authored more than 40 books and manuscripts covering a broad range of scientific disciplines.
