Sadie Barr

Researcher, author, consultant, and food educator

Sadie is a food and nutrition researcher, author, and educator. She has published studies and articles about the topics of food metabolism, nutrition science, and healthy eating for children. She has previously worked as a management consultant, and developed and implemented nutrition education programs in public schools for Revolution Foods (a healthy food-service provider). She recently graduated with MPH and MBA degrees from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Carey School of Business, and is determined to change the way we value food in this country. Sadie grew up in Napa, CA, and attended Pomona College for undergrad. She is a huge SF Giants fan (before they were good), and will do mostly anything for a good aged cheese and a glass of red wine.
