Sam Gustin is an award-winning journalist based in New York City. A graduate of Reed College (2002) and Columbia Journalism School (2005), Sam’s work focuses on the intersection of technology, business, media, and politics. Sam has written for Wired.com, AOL Daily Finance, Condé Nast Portfolio.com, The Times of London, the Village Voice, the New York Post, and his work has been reproduced by various editorial partners including CNN.com, ABCNews.com, Gizmodo and Ars Technica.

In 2010, Sam was part of the team at Daily Finance that won a New York Press Club award for best online feature, for a series entitled “The New Homeless,” which focused on people who lost their homes as a result of the Great Recession. A native New Yorker, Sam lives in Chinatown with his dog Otis.
