Senior Associate, 1,000 Days

Samantha is Senior Associate of Global Policy and Advocacy at 1,000 Days, and a consultant on global health security at No More Epidemics. Previously, she managed two global health advocacy campaigns at RESULTS Australia. She previously also worked as adviser to senior management of a minority government on the Thai-Burma border, at the UN as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, and in academic research across a range of public health issues. She also sat on the Board of Directors of the Burma Campaign Australia. She is currently a Global Health Corps fellow. Sam holds postgraduate degrees in public health, communications, and politics from the University of Sydney, and a science degree from UTS. Sam recently moved from Sydney to Washington D.C., where you can find her reading and drinking coffee in the park.
