Sara Vakhshouri

Dr. Sara Vakhshouri was born and raised in Iran. She was a former advisor to the Director of the National Iranian Oil Company International (NIOCI), and also worked for the Petroenergy Information Network (PIN), the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum. She has also worked in the private energy sector in Iran, as a Senior Investment analyst for Pasargad Energy Development Company (PEDC), as a Senior Consultant for Pasargad Bank, and as a Senior Market Analyst for the Oil Pension Fund Investment Company (OPIC).

Dr. Vakhshouri is also a published scholar, authoring various articles in Oil and Gas Journal, Strategic Affairs and Synergy, and has recently published a book titled The Marketing and Sale of Iranian Export Crude Oil Since the Islamic Revolution. ? She is currently an independent consultant based in Washington DC.
