LGBT health expert, public speaker, writer for hire & fun, trans, bi, dad, hiker.

Dr. Scout has appeared on NPR, The Larry King Live Show, the Melissa Harris Perry Show, and been interviewed dozens of newspapers. His work has won him recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives, two state governments, and many city governments. Dr. Scout received his Ph.D. from Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. He prepares a weekly column on Huffington Post about LGBT health and is a frequent public speaker. He runs Lincoln Woods Consulting and is the Director of LGBT HealthLink at CenterLink. He does grant writing, health policy analysis, and provides technical assistance to a variety of nonprofits. He is an openly transgender father of three kids, a vegetarian, and a leader in Rhode Island Hiking Club. His opinions are his own and do not reflect any funders.
