Shunsuke Katayama

Shunsuke Katayama is a student, a Mathematics enthusiast, and a punk rock fan for life. Currently studying Mathematics and Physics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, he feels discomfort in the public portrayal of Mathematics as ‘dead’ or ‘stupid’. As Shunsuke was born in Japan, grew up in Italy, and now studying in the French-speaking part of Canada, he knows the language borders - with an exception of Mathematics, the universal language of nature. He believes if one finds beauty in nature, then one will find beauty in Mathematics.
