Former Director of Volunteer Services, Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty
As the former Director of Volunteer Services at Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, Stefanie Greenberg started her career as an AmeriCorps VISTA and has since recruited more than 15,000 volunteers and managed over 75 AmeriCorps service members. In her position she has worked on strategic and innovative opportunities for volunteers to assist the agency in moving its mission forward by utilizing volunteers to conduct community outreach to promote available resources. She is responsible for budgeting, reporting, designing and implementing all volunteer initiatives. Being an active volunteer herself, she has participated in international service trips, completed a half-marathon and triathlon in support of The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and serves as treasurer of the board for New York Association for Volunteer Administrators.
