Stephanie Mitchell Hughes is an attorney, writer, speaker, and respectful disrupter dedicated to breaking the chains that bind one story at a time. She writes and speaks about living with depression, overcoming adversity, her life as a single mother, and organizational health. Stephanie educates employers on how to address mental illness through her workshop entitled “Yes Virginia, There is Mental Illness in the Workplace.” She shared her story at TedxColumbus and This Is My Brave. In addition to The Huffington Post, Stephanie’s work appears in a number of online and print publications including The Mighty, Medium.com, The Good Men Project, and mariashriver.com.
