Sue Pleming is the head of communications at the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor, a financial inclusion think tank based at the World Bank. Previously, Sue was the senior director of communications at InterAction, the biggest alliance of U.S.-based international NGOs. She was a correspondent for the international news agency Reuters for two decades, with assignments in Africa, London, Brussels and Washington. She started her career with The Star newspaper in Johannesburg.
