Susan is the founder and CEO of Smigin, a language learning company with a unique focus on conversation skills. NYC based Smigin offers users a suite of products available in multiple languages and has users in over 175 countries. With 15 years of Sales & Marketing experience in over 30 countries globally Susan has an innate knowledge of global sales strategies. Susan has held executive positions in both public and private companies in the USA and Europe. Her knowledge of the technology startup world, of what it takes to build a company from scratch and her ability to tell that story has seen Susan’s work published in the US and in Europe. Susan is a graduate of University College Cork, served as Co-Chair of IIBN NY 2015-’16 and is an Executive Director of LEAP (Leadership & Executive Acceleration Program for Irish and Irish American young women).
