I have taught journalism to undergraduate and postgraduate Indian and foreign students on social and development issues for over 10 year years. The BBC World Service Trust designated me as a Trainer/Mentor in India in 2004.

I have taught journalism at the Kamala Nehru College (Delhi University), the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC - new Jawaharlal Nehru University campus), the Chitkara University (Chandigarh), and at the University of South Australia.

The subjects include -- Writing, Editing, History of Journalism, Media Ethics, Development and Environmental Journalism, Newspaper and Magazine page-designing,

I worked as a journalist for more than two decades in India and abroad. I worked for the Hindustan Times, The Statesman and The Tribune.

I was a fulltime Education and Media Consultant with Worldwide Fund For Nature (WWF-India), Lodi Estate, New Delhi. I have conducted Media & Public Awareness Workshops for the World Bank and the UNICEF.

I am also international columnist for the US-based blog The Moderate Voice.
