A standout at the University of Southern California, Terrell was selected in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. In 2009 and 2010, the starting corner back led the team in tackles with 85 and 101 respectively. In 2011, Terrell tore his ACL during a preseason game and was out for the season. This was the second time he injured his ACL; the first was at USC. After a grueling year of rehabilitation, Terrell returned to the Giants for training camp in 2012. He has many off-field passions as well. Terrell is the son of a former Louisiana caterer, and enjoys cooking and entertaining. He is a proud father of one to Tatum Aspen (age three) and is very active in the New York Tri-State and southern California communities, engaging in various philanthropic and community programs throughout the year.he was told by the team’s head athletic trainer that he had, in fact, torn his ACL a third time.
