Vijay Raghavan is the Assistant Country Director for Programs for Concern Worldwide in Afghanistan. He has more than two decades of work experience, with 10 years at senior management level in social-economic development, humanitarian, and disaster risk reduction sectors for UN agencies, international non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government programs, academic and research institutions, and the private sector. Additionally, he has worked in conflict and fragile environments for seven years, five of which are in Afghanistan. He holds Master Degree in Arts from Osmania University, Hyderabad (India) and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights for University of Hyderabad, India.
