Wade Norris

Independent Journalist, Environmental Activist

Wade Norris is a graduate of the Iliff School of Theology and Campbell University Divinity School. He has been an advocate and organizer for several progressive political campaigns and is a regular contributor to several high traffic political blog sites such as the Daily Kos. Wade is also the host of “Ultimate Politics” (currently on hiatus) a talk show focusing on political campaigns in Colorado and environmental action. His guests have ranged from Alternative Energy advocates, such as Ron Lehr of the American Wind Energy Association, Richard Eidlin and Carmen Rhodes of the Apollo Alliance, Nancy La Placa of Energy Justice and Leslie Glustrom of Clean Energy Action as well as elected officials who are working to change U.S. energy production from fossil based fuels to Renewable and Green Energy sources. In more recent interviews he has also interviewed Black Lives Matter Activist and Baltimore Mayoral Candidate, DeRay McKesson and Civil Rights Icon, Dr. Fergie Reid. He also filmed Josh Fox of Gasland, and Bill McKibben of 350.org who both came to Colorado to defend the town of Longmont for a threatened lawsuit by Governor Hickenlooper to force Fracking after the town banned Fracking at the Ballot box. His ongoing campaign has been with the Program to Relocate and Assist Environmental Refugees (PRAER) and endeavors to inform the public on the crisis of Environmental Refugees displaced by rising sea levels.
