Will grew up in Charlotte, N.C. He attended Columbia University in New York City and graduated with a degree in film studies. After a short stint as an editor in broadcast news, he moved back to North Carolina to make his first feature film. In 2005, he moved back to the NYC area, making his living in film and video ever since.
