William K. Barth

Writer, Independent Political Analyst

Dr. William K. Barth is a writer with an independent political analyst. His political philosophy places him in the radical-center that reflects the views of most American voters. He draws from an extensive background in politics, law, and government to enhance his written work. This includes his academic background having earned his doctorate in politics from the University of Oxford in Oxford, UK (2007), as well as his Masters of Public Administration at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Ma (1986). His doctoral thesis is entitled, On Cultural Rights, The Equality of Nations and the Minority Legal Tradition (Leiden, Martinus Nijhoff, 2008) and was published last year by the distinguished international law publishing house Martinus Nijhoff Publishers that is based in Boston and Leiden. In addition, Dr. Barth worked as a senior lawyer for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development during the administration of President Bill Clinton. Prior to this, Barth worked as a non-profit, affordable housing director, as well as a practicing Attorney in California. His op-ed articles have appeared in Forbes.com, the Washington Times, and the Jerusalem Post. He currently resides at his home in Los Angeles with his wife Linda, daughter Candice, and his two dogs, Winston and Chloe.
