An international festival of contemporary theater produced by REDCAT in collaboration with Center Theatre Group and The Public Theater's Under the Radar Festival. The festival features influential theater ensembles from Chile, Mexico, Japan, and Australia, with over 15 productions, each fueling the dialogue about the evolution of contemporary theater.

Now in its seventeenth year, the 2011 Los Angeles Film Festival, presented by the Los Angeles Times, returns June 16-26 with ten days and eleven nights of cinema. See world premieres including Bernie starring Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey, and Shirley MacLaine and Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, co-written and produced by Festival Guest Director Guillermo del Toro and starring Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce. Enjoy special events and conversations including three nights of outdoor screenings at the Ford Amphitheatre, conversations with Julie Taymor and James Franco -- who will also present the world premiere of his film The Broken Tower, and lunch talks, coffee talks, and poolside chats with some of the biggest names in indie film. Materials & Applications: Summer Studio Tours

Materials & Applications presents its Summer Studio Tours. The Eastside Tour, June 18th from 12-4pm will feature the Ball-Nogues Design Studio, Didier Hess, Olyer Wu, P-A-T-T-E-R-NS, Portable Studio, and Urban Operations. The Westside Tour, June 19th 12-5pm, will feature the Cliff Garten Studio, Layer, LOHA, Office of Mobile Design, Predock Frane, and Stephen Glassman Studio. This event is part of the Los Angeles Design Festival.

The annual summer live public art auction, featuring modern and contemporary paintings, photography, sculptures, drawings, multiples, and prints. Lots 1-135 will auction Saturday June 18. The auction will continue Sunday, June 19 for Lots 136-240.
