The Supreme Court has escalated it's attackon core principles of justice and law with aseries of cases that threaten fundamentalfreedoms.

This week, the Court majority ruled againstintegration and aims at de facto reversal ofBrown v. Board of Education. This sets backjustice by fifty years with logic reminiscent ofthe pre-Brown days of segregation.

Previously, the Court initiated an attack onRoe, with Justice Kennedy using the bizarrelegal reasoning that seventy year old menneed to prevent women from making whatthey consider a mistake, i.e. exercising theirright of choice.

Make no mistake, Roe v. Wade is in mortal danger from this Court.

The President believes he can void the Billof Rights unilaterally and violate statuteswith signing statements. The Vice Presidentacts like a rogue elephant with a strangefixation for torture and other misdeeds. The Attorney General makes a mockeryof the very notions of justice and the ruleof law.

Now, the Supreme Court comes dangerouslyclose to joining this march to disrespect forlaw over the brilliant and passionate oppositionof Justices Ginsburg, Breyer, Stevens andSouter.

I am urging senior Democrats to make thisa front burner issue and urging everyoneto mobilize, organize and activate. I wrotea longer piece about this which can be readon The Hill.
