Wedding days are one of the happiest in people's lives. A day where two soul-mates, surrounded by loved ones, express their love to one another and begin their happy-ever-after journey. Whether you decide to elope privately or throw a Gatsby-size party, your wedding is all about you and your betrothed. Since you two are the stars of the show, why not get married where the Hollywood stars do? Celebrities know how to find some truly beautiful wedding venues and the travel team at Cheapflights.com is here to share some of our favorites with you, plus offer some alternative (and in some cases, more attainable) options that are equally as beautiful.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Westminster Abbey, London, England
Cheapflights.com begins its tour of celebrity-famed weddings with the most storied of all. Most people would agree that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding was as close to a real life fairy-tale as we’ll see and, boy, it did not disappoint. An estimated two billion viewers (that’s more than who tuned into the Olympics) had their eyes glued to television screens, and many probably went to bed dreaming of their own fairy-tale wedding. Unfortunately, most people do not have the qualifications to get married at Westminster Abbey, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have your own “royal” wedding. Winchester Cathedral (an hour drive from London) offers the same “royal” atmosphere that Westminster Abbey provides. But, if your heart is set on getting married at Westminster Abbey, Prince Harry is still single…Image: Westminster Abbey (Mark Ramsay)
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston, South Carolina, United States
Do you dream of a rustic wedding with nature as your only backdrop? Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds sure did, which is why they married at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. Boone Hall Plantation is one of America’s oldest working plantations and makes for an unforgettable wedding venue. The Cotton Dock is their most popular venue with a rustic building set on the banks of Boone Creek, but be sure to look at all their venue options to find the perfect setting for your perfect day.Image: Boone Hall Plantation (Rennett Stowe)
David and Victoria Beckham, Luttrellstown Castle, County Dublin, Ireland
The Beckham’s are not the only celebrities to tie the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. It”s a popular spot for posh weddings and it is not hard to see why. This castle boasts a timeless sense of elegance and tranquility while providing a remarkable and unforgettable backdrop for any wedding celebration. The best part of getting married in Ireland, though, is that it has an abundance of castles to choose from for your dream wedding including Ashford Castle, Dromoland Castle, Cabra Castle or Ballyseede Castle.Image: Ashford Castle (Bob Familiar)
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Los Angeles, California, United States
Ellen and Portia’s beautiful wedding took place at their home is Los Angeles, California. While we don’t suggest you go knocking on their door asking to use their house as your venue, there are many amazing places in Los Angeles where you can have a beautiful, private, back-yard style wedding. Two of our favorite spots are the Secret Garden and the Happy Trails Garden both located at Happy Trails Catering. Just imagine entering through large craftsman style gates into a beautiful garden where you can dance and celebrate underneath the trees and stars.Image: Squerryes Wedding Venue (Jonathan Day)
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos
Ben and Jennifer had the right idea when deciding to wed on this beautiful tropical island. Turks and Caicos has an abundance of unspoiled beaches that you can use as your wedding backdrop, and what’s best is that you can combine your wedding with your honeymoon. Many resorts offer wedding and honeymoon packages to choose from so you can pick what is best for you, whether it be a private ceremony for two or a big celebration with everyone you know. Check out Alexandra Resort, Tuscany Resort or just find the perfect spot on the beach to say “I do”.Image: Berkowitz_145 (David Berkowitz)
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Forte di Belvedere, Florence, Italy
Your dreams will come true in the heart of the Renaissance. Start your life together in the enchantingly beautiful Tuscan region of Italy and discover the endless options you have available to you. Whether you want to get married in a castle, at a vineyard or on an estate, Tuscany will not disappoint (to be honest, no region in Italy will disappoint). Consider the Red Hall of the Palazzo Vecchio for a traditional and romantic Italian wedding or check out a villa, such as the Historic Villa, for a truly intimate and unforgettable time.Image: Florence skyline (echiner1 used under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license)
Sir Elton John and David Furnish, Windsor Guildhall, Berkshire, England
After 12 years together, Sir Elton John and David Furnish tied the knot with a civil partnership ceremony at The Windsor Guildhall. This historic building, which was designed by Sir Thomas Fitz, is filled with charm and is perfect for anyone looking for a wedding full of with culture. The Guildhall Chamber is available for wedding ceremonies on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and can accommodate up to 100 of your loved ones.Image: The Guildhall (Reading Tom)
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Chateau Miraval, France
Finally! The world has waited years for this wedding and it was just as beautiful as we imagined it would be. Brangelina exchanged vows at Chateau Miraval, a 1,200 acre estate in the village of Correns, France. They have called this place home for a number of years now, making it nearly impossible to book it for your own personal wedding. However, there are many beautiful places in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region of France such as the Chateau Val Joanis where you can wed among vineyards, beautiful gardens and courtyards.Image: Chateau Val Joanis (Anna and Michal used under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license)
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, Sydney, Australia
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban wed at the beautiful Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, which sits on the stunning grounds of St. Patrick’s Estate and has amazing views of Manly beach below. And, if you can believe it, the inside of the chapel is just as beautiful as its outdoor views with a high vaulted ceiling, stunning white altar and deep red curtains. Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel is ideal for someone who dreams of a traditional Catholic wedding. For non-Catholic couples looking to get married at an equally beautiful place, look no further than the Manly Yacht Club, which is just a couple miles away. Manly Yacht Club offers uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbor from its sheltered balcony and allows you to have your ceremony on-site.Image: Goodnight Manly (Nigel Howe)
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, Venice, Italy
Many hearts were broken when George Clooney’s bachelor days officially ended. And, although we are happy for George and Amal, it is hard not to be jealous of their beautiful wedding in Venice. Venice is a beautiful destination to start a life together, and there is never a bad time of year to get married there. The Donà Palace Hotel boasts untouched beauty of restored historical features that will take your breath away, and this is just one of the many beautiful places you can get married in Venice.Image: Hotel Ca' Sagredo - Grand Canal - Venice Italy Venezia (gnuckx)
