Do You Truly Value Yourself? Then Stop Discounting Yourself!

Consider this question: Do you truly value yourself?

I just got off the phone with a new client who has had her own business for three years and still wonders if she is going to be able to pay her bills every month. She does incredible work and, most importantly, is committed to delivering 110 percent to her clients. And she has clients. So what's the problem?

The problem is she wants to keep her rates "affordable" and discounts her services often at 100 percent. She thinks she does this so that she can keep money coming in but what's really happening is her fear of having no money is blocking abundance from flowing in her life.

Bottom line: She does not value herself enough.

I see this pattern all the time: people discounting themselves by undervaluing their gifts and settling for less than they deserve. It shows up by under pricing services, not asking for what they're worth at work, or staying in relationships that are only kinda sorta what they desire.

Often the reason our dreams aren't manifesting is because we are not standing strong in our worthiness. Identifying and believing in your dreams is only half the formula for making them come true. The other half is taking right action. And right action includes both taking action steps toward your dreams and AWAY from things that are not serving them.

I know it can feel scary to ask for more. I understand it can feel terrifying to say goodbye to a relationship or job that feels comfortable. And I get that saying no to something when there isn't something else that's a big yes feels paralyzing.

But I also know how liberating it is to SEE your value. I understand how self-honoring it is to let go of relationships or jobs that just aren't good enough. And I get that saying no to what you don't want builds the kind of faith that is absolutely necessary to live the life of your dreams.

I'm a stand for your value. I am a stand for your greatness. I am a stand for your wildest dreams.

But if you aren't a stand for your value, greatness and dreams, no one else will truly be able to see you.

Aren't you grateful for your gifts? Well then show it by not putting them on sale. And haven't you worked pretty darn hard to get where you are? It's time to stop discounting your experience. Be a stand for what you deserve. Whether it's a higher value on your services, a raise, more time off, a chance at an opportunity, a request in a relationship, or support because you are finally realizing that doing everything on your own isn't working.

If you are looking for a sign THIS IS IT.

Stop trying to convince yourself it's "good enough" when it's not!
