STK restaurant in L.A.'s West Hollywood area is a favorite spot for dinner or drinks. Locals nosh on a great menu of appetizers and meals whether lounging in the bar or at a table in the restaurant's chic space. It's located smack in the center of one of the hottest areas in the city, so you can hop over to a few other places after you've had dinner, or stick around at the restaurant's bar which is often going off most nights of the week.
This past week, we caught up with head Chef David Michael Gussin for his five favorite things. Not only can he cook, but he also has great taste!
1. Sushi -- David says that living in Sherman Oaks, Calif., has put him in the center of some of the best sushi in the country.

4. Fiji water -- the best, we agree!
5. Sriracha -- David adds it to everything
