Fun facts With John McCain

McCain's record doesn't look like the record of a change-maker by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, looks like he's dominated by the same lobbyists Bush has been beholden to for the last eight years.

Hey, you can find the fact-checking here, at ProgressiveAccountability.org.

Below a sampling from the index the organization put together (at the site, the numbers are all linked to sources). Doesn't look like the record of a change-maker by any stretch of the imagination:

-- 95 percent of the time McCain voted with George W. Bush in 2007.
-- 100 percent of the time McCain voted with George W. Bush in 2008 so far.
-- $10 billion amount John McCain would spend in Iraq each month.
-- 58 percent of McCain?s tax benefits go to the top 1 percent of taxpayers and only 9 percent to the bottom 80 percent.
-- 29 lobbyists from the oil and gas industry tied to McCain's campaign.
-- $3.8 billion amount McCain's tax plan gives in tax breaks to the top five American oil companies.?
-- $1.9 billion amount in tax breaks, under McCain's plan, to the 10 biggest health insurers.
-- 125 times John McCain voted against Choice ? he even said that he would overturn Roe v. Wade.

In fact, this suggests McCain is dominated by the same lobbyists Bush has been beholden to for the last eight years.
