Today marks the publication of "Everybody's Brother," the autobiography from the multi-talented and sometimes crazy CeeLo Green. I know this because I co-wrote "Everybody's Brother" with this man who told me early on I could call him "Lo" and Big Gipp, CeeLo's close friend and longtime collaborator in Goodie Mob. CeeLo is one of a kind, and in the book he shares how he discovered his own voice many years before he ever turned his chair around on "The Voice." As CeeLo puts in the book, "I had to create myself due to circumstances beyond my control. As you will see, I was born in a sort of chaos but was mystically transformed into a very real character I renamed `CeeLo Green.' Trust me, you're going to love this guy - just like I do." I think "Publishers Weekly" describes the book nicely: "Brassy, often snarky, and totally madcap, Cee Lo mouths off in this ribald tell-all, to the enjoyment of his fans and newbies everywhere."
Tomorrow CeeLo will be signing the book at Barnes & Noble on Fifth Avenue at 46th Street in New York at 12:30 PM, and I hope some of you fans and newbies will stop and say hello to this lovable and colorful character and be a part of Literary Team CeeLo.
