Today's episode is huge for us. It features our first celebrity guest chef, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz. We're thrilled that Marty agreed to be on the show - being in the kitchen with him was truly a honor. Honestly, we're a bit shocked that it came together. I don't know about you, but I don't know many public officials who drop in to make pizza and egg creams. Pretty fabulous! If you've never seen Marty do his thing, then you're in for a treat. Be sure to watch to the end for a very special proclamation:

Amazing, right?

No notes needed for this recipe. It's really, really easy. Get good quality tomatoes and mozzarella and you can't go wrong.

Last thing- be sure to check out Dine in Brooklyn which began yesterday, March 15th and lasts through the 25th. The full list of participating restaurants is here. We at E. Bites are all about cooking, but when a deal like this comes along, we fully suggest you indulge.

Thanks again to Marty and the Borough President's office. As always, you can find this full recipe and more episodes at our site - Economybites.tv
