The April 30th Dinner Party was by far the most fun yet! Nora Dunn, before performing, had everyone in stitches with her impersonation of people from Forest Park and Lorne Michaels. Lane Alexander, after tap dancing to Bach and seeing the designs of Peach Carr, asked her -- LIVE! -- to create costumes for his upcoming performance at the Kennedy Center in December. And Peach Carr had some funny stories about Tim Gunn and her Project Runway experiences!

This all came together over the food prepared (for the guests and the audience) by James Beard Nominee for Best Chef, Paul Kahan, who also let on that he is a great shoe shopper. Demonstrations by video of his creations also entertained the audience and viewers watching live, as Fear No ART presents The Dinner Party was also streaming on Time Out Chicago.

The next Dinner Party will take place on June 25th at the Mayne Stage with guests Steve James (director of Hoop Dreams and The Interrupters), Regina Taylor (playwright of Crowns at The Goodman Theatre) and chef Paul Fehribach (Big Jones) will cook up some New Orleans style dishes.

Enjoy the highlights of the show below. If you want to see the full show, or performances by Dunn, who also shared a funny Warren Beatty story, Alexander, Carr and Kahan, click here. The Dinner Party is supported by Le Cordon Bleu, LH Selman Gallery of Fine Glass Paperweights and Disaster Planning and Response Art Rescue.
