It's a generally agreed upon fact that Betty White is amazing. At 90 years young -- White's 90th Birthday Special aired last night on NBC, although her actual birthday is today -- she's living proof that strong, witty female icons can get even more fabulous in their later years.

Though Betty White has been well-loved since her days on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and most famously, "The Golden Girls," -- who didn't have soft spot for Rose? -- she's gone on to become a cultural sensation. After a successful Facebook campaign launched in 2010 asking White to host SNL, she garnered the show's highest ratings since 2008 and has appeared all over the pop culture map ever since. She was cast in a starring role on the TVLand sitcom "Hot in Cleveland," which received a People's Choice Award this year, wrote the New York Times bestselling memoir "If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won't)," snagged a Grammy nomination and is now hosting NBC's seniors-only prank show "Off Their Rockers." In the meantime, she's attracted fans of all ages -- see Kate Beckinsale's declaration of her love for Betty last night and Amy Poehler's in-good-fun roast.

So, here's to Betty, in all of her fabulous 90 years of glory! In her honor, we've rounded up our favorite Betty White moments -- and six reasons we love her so much.
