'24: Live Another Day,' 'Surviving Jack,' And 'Gang Related' Get Spring Premiere Dates

When Will '24' Return?

Jack Bauer's return will finally happen this May in a two-hour season premiere.

Fox announced Monday (Jan. 13) that "24: Live Another Day," the revival of Kiefer Sutherland's acclaimed "24," will have a special two-hour premiere on May 5 at 9 p.m. EST.

The 12-episode event will still air in real-time over the course of individual hours, as the original series was known for, however, in this season hours will be skipped between episodes. "Live Another Day" will follow Sutherland's Jack Bauer racing against time to prevent a terrorist attack in London. Yvonne Stahovski of "Chuck" and "Dexter" will join the series as a CIA operative.

In other Fox news, Christopher Meloni's new comedy "Surviving Jack" will make its series premiere March 27, airing after "American Idol" at 8:30 p.m. EST. New crime drama "Gang Related," starring Ramon Rodriguez, Terry O-Quinn and Emilio Rivera, will premiere on May 20 following part one of the "Idol" season finale.
