Southfield police are looking the into the death of a 3-year-old boy in a hotel pool.
The boy was discovered drowned at the city's Embassy Suites Hotel on Wednesday at 4:45 pm. Police do not yet know the length of time the child had been in the pool.
Paramedics attempted CPR on the child, but could not resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Police are still investigating the details of the case and did not release the boy's name.
