Neurosurgeon and TV personality, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, says this creamy concoction is his nighttime tipple of choice. The most important ingredient is turmeric. Turmeric is a bright-yellow spice that's commonly used in many Asian dishes. Turmeric also fights inflammation, which is linked to many age-related diseases.

It's a powerful way to fight age-related conditions like arthritis, and some studies have even shown it can fight inflammation much like an over-the-counter anti-inflammatory painkiller! It's often used in cooking, but for a more potent dose, you can make yourself some of this flavorful ginger tea with a kick. You can add a bit of honey to sweeten.
