Bryce Fox performed his song "Voodoo" on A-Sides recently, and while we can't confirm it, something tells me Salt 'N' Peppa are questioning how the singer/songwriter does that voodoo that he does so well. The song is just one example of the soul-infused rock that pours out of the Bloomington, IN native. Compared to everyone from Chris Cornell to Hozier with perhaps a dose of X Ambassadors' Sam Harris, this unique artist is dropping singles like Obama drops mics.
Fox's first single "Burn Fast" garnered some attention, and his recently released "Horns" has already been a hit on Spotify's Global Viral Chart. Anyway, there's more to come. The artist will soon drop an EP, which was produced by the always in-demand Frequency, and discussed that, his music, and more during an interview last month. Watch that and the performance below, and perhaps question why I led off this piece with a Salt 'N' Peppa namedrop.

Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far, away - OK not really - in Savannah, GA, there was a music festival called Savannah Stopover. Hot on the heels of Austin's SXSW, the festival has grown in each of its six years. Grimes, of Montral, and HAERTS are among the bands who have performed throughout the years, and this past March's fest may have been the best. Why do I bring this up now? Well, during that music get together, several artists performed exclusively for A-SIdes. Why the wait? We live in a world of "now now now" so I figured, why not take our time in posting these treasures. OK, I digress, these amazing videos filmed by Jon Graham slipped through the proverbial tracks. Lucy Dacus is a subtly-powerful singer/songwriter who recently dropped No Burden. Take a listen as we filmed her performing at an Savannah rec pool.
French Horn Rebellion is a Brooklyn electronic dance band formed in 2007 by Wisconsin-bred brothers Robert Perlick-Molinari and David Perlick Molinari. Watch them play at their Air BnB pool at the fest.
